I can't remember last time I learned so much within just ten weeks.
Although I know I wasn't the best team worker (mostly due to the lack of time and the fact that I was struggling with doing 40 hours per week), I'm really proud of what we have achieved. I was always finding it hard to work as a part of a group and going though this journey with some of the most talented and organised people I know taught me a lot.
If there's anything I regret that would be not doing enough engine work. I was putting my stuff in the level and arranging it every time after finishing an asset, but I wish I spent more time doing things such as lightning or post processing.
Here's a brief summary of the work I did over the last 10 weeks:
I concepted the small theatre. Although we didn't use it in the end, I believe my concepts helped to decide on the mood and the feel of the final game.

I also did a lot of research and various moodboards for things such as :
victorian furniture
victorian props
victorian theatres
victorian leaflets and posters
victorian taxidermy

I did some concepts and colour variations for the assets. As we decided not to include dressing room, I didn't have chance to model sofas (which I was really looking forward to), but I used chandelier and oil lamp concepts to create this assets later on.
I aslo concepted dressing room and made some base meshes for furniture that I thought we will include in the level. Even though we decided to cut dressing room out, I'm still happy I got a chance to learn a bit more about concepting and planning environments.

Over the past weeks I made the following assets:
Armchair_1
Armchair_2 (with cloth assset on it)
Pillow_1
Pillow_2
Double door
Single door
wall pillars
chandelier
oil lamp
wall lamp
and a stretchgoals that I didn't finish on time (but I'm going to keep working on)
Grand piano
piano stool
vase with roses
Here are the assets in unreal:
Here's a piano from the end of the 10th week
As a group we decided we will not include it in the final level as it looks too modern due to the lack of materials.

And here are some assets rendered in marmoset. During this project only I managed to double the amount of projects in my portfolio. I'm really happy with my progress and the fact that my OTM assets are far better in quality than other things that I did before this project.

I learned a lot about creating current gen assets for real time rendering. Thanks to some 3rd year students I found out how to work better and quicker. I had solid practise of texturing and hard surface high poly modeling as well. I'm going to use all the knowledge I gained during this project to create my own small environments during the summer.
